Mi tío ha vivido en esta habitación de paredes verdes durante los últimos 40 años, yo viví 15 con él y vi ese lugar confirmándose como su núcleo espacial.

En su caso, la esquizofrenia es discapacitante para muchas actividades comunes y desde el inicio, los recursos informativos fueron limitados para mi familia, por lo que esta fue la mejor forma que encontraron para mantenerlo a salvo.

Sin embargo, intento visibilizar con este proyecto, que las enfermedades de salud mental como la de mi tío, no se exentan de la necesidad de desarrollo y creación, algo que ambos compartimos al generar estas imágenes. Y esta es mi forma de llevar a mi tío fuera de esa habitación verde.

[EN] My uncle has lived in this green-walled room for the last 40 years, I lived with him for 15 and watched that place become his spatial nucleus. In his case, schizophrenia is disabling in many common activities and from the beginning, information resources were limited for my family, so this was the best way they found to keep him safe. However, with this project, I try to make visible that mental health illnesses like my uncle's are not exempt from the need for development and creation, something that we both share when generating these images. And this is my way of getting my uncle out of that green room.
